THE Herald Property Awards for Scotland 2007, in association with Bank of Scotland Corporate, were held on Thursday night at the Radisson SAS Hotel, Glasgow An audience of 440 house-builders and suppliers to the building trade turned out to support the inaugral event, which was hosted by Andrew Winter, presenter of Channel 4's Selling Houses.
The event was sponsored by Bank of Scotland Corporate, Blairs Limited, Clyde Property, Countrywide Estate Agents, EVM, Ideal Standard, King Sturge, Reid Furniture, Riverside Inverclyde, VELUX, Villeroy and Boch at Scope Bathrooms.
The winners were: Best Family Home: Glade-dale (Central Scotland) Ltd for the Newburgh II. Best Apartment: Strathclyde Homes for the Exclu8ive. Best Luxury Home: West-point Homes for the Trinity Reform Church. Best Waterfront: Development: Dandara for gh2o. Best Conversion: Quality Street for Aspire Best Townhouse: Apple-cross for The Riccarton Townhouse. Best Mixed Use: Development: Gladedale Capital for Quartermilc Best Onsite Presentation: Best at Ferry Village, Braehead. Best Marketing Campaign: Cala Homes West for "You Can" at Canniesbum. Best Show Home: Dickie and Moore for The Glen Douglas, Hapland Mill. The Grand Prix Award: Dandara for gh2o.
