Luckily dandara is driving an innovative project aimed at helping to get first time buyers onto the property ladder, as it launches its unique ‘Your First Time’ campaign.

The difficulty facing first time buyers in today’s competitive market is well documented. The first time buyer or FTB’s as they have become affectionately known, plays an essential role in the property market enabling established buyers to move up the ladder by being able to buy quickly without the issue of a “chain".

With the continuous upward trend in property prices the first time buyer is becoming more elusive, with the average age in Manchester rising to 34 years old.

dandara recognises that there are barriers preventing FTB’s from purchasing homes, and are the first developer in the city centre to launch an initiative to tackle this issue.

dandara’s pioneering of the ‘Your First Time’ campaign will launch with the creation of a FTB’s forum, which will consist of extensive market research into the genuine needs of a first time buyer and their lives.

Candidates at the forum will be acting as an advisory panel to dandara, enabling them to create incentives and packages that address their needs and issues, whilst providing the necessary information, support, guidance and product to enable them to take that crucial first step onto the property ladder.
