The original part of the town dates back to the 15th century and is extremely popular with tourists. The town’s 400,000 sq. ft. Marlowes Shopping Centre features more than 75 shops and cafes, whilst The Riverside open air shopping centre is home to a variety of retail outlets, including music and fashion stores and a 110 bedroom hotel which overlooks the town’s landscaped water gardens and rivers. 

Close proximity to London

Access to Hemel Hempstead is excellent; the train journey to London’s Euston station takes just 26 minutes from the town and both the M1 and M25 motorways are just a short drive from Hemel Hempstead via the A414. Luton Airport, which serves around 15 million passengers each year is approximately 12 miles away and Heathrow Airport is around 25 miles from Hemel Hempstead.
