The Chilterns, Naphill, Buckinghamshire

Dandara acquired the 5.25-acre site at Clappins Lane, Naphill in March 2018 and following successful promotion through the Wycombe District Council Local Plan, it was removed from the Green Belt and formally allocated.   

A planning application for 63 dwellings was submitted in early 2020 with permission granted in the following October, which meant that it took only 31 months from acquisition to determination of an application for a very constrained site in the Green Belt and AONB.

The site includes a policy compliant 30 affordable homes, of which 25% are wheelchair accessible. The site includes open space and contributions to local amenities. As it lies within the Chiltern Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we have worked hard to ensure that these homes are built in keeping with the local area, with specific design references to the Chilterns Buildings Design Guide.

Over 50% of the homes were sold off-plan.
