‘Idyllic’ perfectly describes Sharnbrook. Why? Well, this wonderful village has just about everything you need. A Norman church, bakery, farm shop, schools, pubs, a GP surgery, food stores, an established village playing fields' association (offering tennis, bowls, football and cricket), a social club and a village hall.
There are good schools for all ages too. Like Acorn Day Nursery for the youngest family members, and then Sharnbrook Primary for when they get a little older. There's also Sharnbrook Academy with a sixth form.
When you get free time, you’ll find plenty to do. There’s lovely open green spaces to enjoy at Castle Close Wildlife & Heritage Site or Sharnbrook Play Park. You can meet friends at Ashpoles Tearoom Garden, while keen golfers can play 9 holes at Sharnbrook Golf Club.
Getting around is simple too, with the A6 close by for journeys to Bedford, Luton and Kettering, plus you can reach Northampton via the A45 and Cambridge via the A14. For trains, head into Bedford where you can catch services to Brighton, Corby, Gatwick Airport and London St Pancras.
