And if you feel like a bit of exercise after a hearty meal out, there are plenty of places to stretch your legs, too. Jump in the car and you can be at the pretty Tredegar Park in less than 10 minutes. Here you’ll find 90 acres of parkland to explore, with a playground for your little ones, a skate park for your slightly older ones, plus athletics fields and tennis courts. Drive a little further and you can enjoy the perfect place for a family day out – the Jump Adventure trampoline park.
And if you fancy going a bit further afield and exploring the beautiful countryside around you, you’ll be less than 30 minutes in the car from the A470, and from there just half an hour from the beautiful, spectacular Brecon Beacons National Park. Alternatively drive south for 10 minutes and you can be on the M4 in no time, with Swansea and scenic west Wales to the west, and vibrant Bristol to the east.
