Isle of Man kick off 2025 in style with new-look sales centre

Starting the new year in style, Dandara recently unveiled its state-of-the-art re-modelled Sales Centre in the heart of Douglas.

Conveniently located on Victoria Street, the Sales Centre is often the first ‘port of call’ for those wishing to buy a new home and offers the latest information on current and forthcoming developments and house types, energy-efficiency benefits and more.

The stylish, modern interior features comfortable seating and private meeting areas and, on the first floor, a new ‘specification studio’ with full size kitchen mock-ups where homebuyers can choose from a range of flooring, kitchen and worktop and tiling options and really put their personal stamp on their new home.

Open Monday to Thursday from 9.30am-5.30pm, and Friday and Saturday from 9.30am-4pm, Dandara’s highly experienced team is on hand to help homebuyers find the property that’s right for them, as Chris Craine, Head of Sales, explains:

‘When we first opened our Douglas Sales Centre in 2007, it was very unusual for a homebuilder to invest in a high street presence like this. However, we wanted to offer homebuyers enhanced service and greater convenience by having everything under one roof in this prime central location.

‘For many of our customers, this is where their homebuying journey starts. We’ve welcomed thousands of customers through the doors over the years and look forward to helping many more find their ideal home.’

With the latest release of new homes at Parkfield and Station View at the popular Reayrt Mie development in Ballasalla now available, and the launch of The Waterfront at Quay West in Douglas imminent, the Sales Centre has had already had a very busy first few weeks of the year.

Conveniently located within a few minutes’ walk of the city centre, The Waterfront is a new development of 100 one and two bedroom apartments with parking, adjacent to the award-winning Quay West development and interest is already high.

‘The Waterfront is our first development of new homes in the capital for several years. The convenient location and proximity to the city centre is very appealing. We’re already taking enquiries and this Spring will see the unveiling of a new show apartment within our Sales Centre, so there’s been a lot of anticipation.’ added Chris.

2025 also marks Dandara’s 37th anniversary on the Island. Since its foundation in 1988, the company which is headquartered in Braddan has grown to become one of the UK’s largest independent home builders; employing more than 100 people locally and almost 1,000 across its operations in England, Scotland and the Channel Islands.

As Chris summarises: ‘Our goal is to provide homes to suit every budget and lifestyle with no compromise on quality and which help the environment and reduce household energy costs. This is just one of the ways in which we committed to the Island when we made this our home in 1988, and we look forward to welcoming even more local homebuyers to our Sales Centre during 2025.’
