Christmas Spirit Shines Bright At Hawthorn Grove With Light Switch On From North Mundham School

Hawthorn Grove was filled with festive cheer last week as pupils from North Mundham Primary School helped light up the development during Dandara’s Christmas light switch-on event on Wednesday 3 December.

30 children from the school choir took part, singing Christmas carols for visitors after joining Dandara Southern for the countdown.

The choir performed five songs and brought a sense of community to the occasion, with families, neighbours and Dandara team members gathering to enjoy the celebrations. The event forms part of Dandara Southern’s ongoing support for local schools and community activities across West Sussex.

Emma Thomson, Head of Sales at Dandara Southern, said: “It was a brilliant afternoon and a lovely way to start the festive season at Hawthorn Grove. The pupils were fantastic and brought so much warmth to the event. We’re incredibly grateful to North Mundham Primary School for being part of it, and it was great to see local families coming together to enjoy the celebrations.”

Zoe Gordon, Headteacher at North Mundham Primary School, said: “The children had a wonderful time singing at Hawthorn Grove. They were so excited to help with the light switch-on and share the carols they’ve been practising. It’s always special to be involved in community events like this and we really appreciated the warm welcome.”

Hawthorn Grove, located in the heart of North Mundham, offers a collection of high-quality two-, three- and four-bedroom homes designed for modern living, with easy access to Chichester, the coast and local amenities. The development has attracted a mix of first-time buyers, families and downsizers, creating a growing community that continues to take shape.

The light switch-on marks the start of the festive season at Hawthorn Grove, where the Dandara team will continue working closely with local schools, charities and community groups in the months ahead
