Dandara Accelerates Essex Expansion With New Office and Senior Hires

Dandara Eastern has relocated to a new regional office in Takeley, Essex, as it continues to expand its presence across the region. The move follows a raft of land acquisitions throughout the year, with several more opportunities in the pipeline.

The new office opened in August and will support Dandara Eastern’s growing team as the division expands its operations across Essex. Located near the popular Prior’s Edge development in Takeley, the office offers convenient access to Dandara’s developments across Essex, including Birch Park in Braintree, The Orchard in Little Dunmow and St Mary’s Park in Great Dunmow.

Earlier this month, Dandara announced the acquisition of land in Billericay with plans to deliver 130 homes, 50% of which will be affordable housing. Plans for The Avenue development include a dedicated wildlife area, wildflower meadows, new trees and nature trails to protect the site’s ecological features. 

The Avenue will also provide a £720,000 Section 106 contribution towards community and infrastructure works. These include contributions towards local healthcare provision, local bus services and bus stop improvements, as well as funding for employment and skills initiatives. 

Meanwhile, Dandara has completed the transfer of the first 80 homes at its Latchingdon development. This represents the first phase of a wider agreement with housing association Home Group to deliver 160 affordable houses, marking Dandara’s first deal with the housing association.

Dandara Eastern has an established portfolio across Essex, which includes The Orchard in Little Dunmow, Birch Park in Braintree, St Mary's Park in Great Dunmow and Prior's Edge in Takeley. The region is also set to welcome The Avenue in Billericay with the first homes due to launch in spring 2027.
