Dandara Helps Pupils' Get Creative at Ysgol Gymraeg Gwenllian School

Ysgol Gymraeg Gwenllian Primary School has received a generous donation from Dandara, an independent housebuilder currently selling new homes at its Golwg Gwendraeth development in Carway. The donation is intended to support the school in fostering creativity among its students.

The primary school aims to spark students' imaginations and nurture a love for storytelling. To support this goal, Dandara has donated £500, which will be used to purchase creative games, books, and resources that encourage children to explore writing, reading, and sharing stories.

Adam Barnett, Headteacher at Ysgol Gymraeg Gwenllian Primary School, commented: “As our world becomes more and more digital, the art of writing and storytelling amongst our youth is sadly lessening. This is why we have set ourselves a mission of sparking the imagination of our pupil’s and reigniting their love for writing. We would like to thank Dandara for the generous donation; with their support we can better facilitate the creative development of our students, just as the new school year starts.”

Ideally located for travel around Wales, Golwg Gwendraeth has excellent transport links, including Llanelli railway station approximately a 12 minute drive away. For travel by road, the B4308 will take you straight into Llanelli in around 15 minutes.
