Dandara Jersey Celebrates JeCC Project of the Year Award Win

We are delighted to share that Dandara Jersey has won Project of the Year (Over £5m) at the Jersey Construction Council (JeCC) Awards 2025.

The accolade was presented for the Government of Jersey Headquarters development, a landmark scheme completed ahead of programme on the former Cyril Le Marquand House site in St Helier. The project represents a milestone in the Island’s public-sector infrastructure and sets new benchmarks for sustainable delivery.

The development combined innovation, sustainability and social value. Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital collaboration ensured the project was delivered efficiently and to the highest quality standards, while the scheme achieved BREEAM Excellent – one of the industry’s highest sustainability ratings, recognising outstanding energy efficiency and environmental performance. Alongside this, an EPC A rating and a 63,000 kWh photovoltaic array mean the building can cut energy use and carbon emissions by up to 70%.

The project also delivered wider community benefits, creating 104 new jobs, 25 work placements, six apprenticeships and long-term support for education in Jersey through Highlands College, the Island’s main further and higher education provider.
