From foundations to furry friends: Dandara supports local Dogs Trust

Independent housebuilder, Dandara, is supporting the Loughborough Dogs Trust with a £500 donation in time for Christmas. This donation will go towards the care of the dogs currently being looked after at the centre.

Since 1891, Dogs Trust has been working for a better future for dogs and the people who love them. The trust is on hand to support dogs and their owners from the moment they step into the centres, changing and making lives happier each day. Dogs Trust is committed to caring for our four-legged friends across the whole of the UK and Ireland, hoping to eventually rehome them to committed owners, as well as offering advice and teaching dog safety through workshops.

Rachel Lindop, Head of Sales at Dandara Northern Home Counties, commented: “The winter period can be a difficult time for so many, including our furry friends who are sadly not always cared for. This is where the Dogs Trust support comes in. The work that the trust does across the UK is so inspiring and I am glad that we are able to support them ahead of Christmas. We hope that the donation will help the trust provide all the dogs in their care with a warm and fun filled Christmas.”

Dandara is currently selling a selection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes at The Meadows, just minutes from the heart of Wymeswold. Residents of The Meadows can enjoy the charm of village life, with a plethora of pubs and shops available. For a day out, Bunny Old Wood and Rushcliffe Country Park are nearby with miles of walking paths, or the historic market town of Melton Mowbray is a 20-minute drive away.

The area also has access to several transport links like the A46, M1 and A606, connecting the town with larger regions like Nottingham and Leicester. For longer journeys, Loughborough Train Station and the East Midlands Airport are also nearby.
