Homes launched off-plan to meet increasing demand in Buckinghamshire

Independent housebuilder Dandara has officially launched a new selection of homes off-plan in Wavendon, Milton Keynes, where demand for property shows no signs of slowing down with 81% of homes on the market under offer or sold*.

The Abbots Place development located on Lower End Road, just six miles south-east of Milton Keynes town centre, will offer a range of three-to-five-bedroom family homes as well as two-bedroom apartments

Launched off-plan at the beginning of November, the development will include 108 homes, of which 33 will be affordable and 75 will be private. The energy-efficient homes are expected to be ready to move into by April 2023, and will sit on substantial plots with parking available.

Having recently been granted city status by the Queen, Milton Keynes is in the spotlight for potential buyers*. The development has been pulling interest from Londoners hoping for more space and greenery without sacrificing the hustle and bustle of city life.

Rachel Pepper, Head of Sales at Dandara Northern Home Counties, commented: “Wavendon is a brilliant location for those looking to live in a more peaceful location without giving up closeness to the city. It is fantastic to have officially launched the first release of homes off-plan at Abbots Place and help meet buyer demand by bringing much needed homes to the area.

“It has been great to see strong interest in the development from both locals and those from further afield including Colchester, Brighton and even Manchester! With top-performing schools and efficient transport links to the Capital nearby, we expect this initial interest to continue growing.”

Abbots Place sits in a desirable position in Wavendon, and offers buyers a taste of the countryside whilst still having handy town amenities on the doorstep. Ideal for families, there are plenty of schools for all ages nearby, including Wavendon Gate Primary School and Kents Hill School.

A number of excellent road links are available from the development, with easy reach to the A421, which connects with the M1, providing fast road access throughout England and beyond. Woburn Sands train station is under two miles away, and Milton Keynes station is a six minute drive away, providing fast and efficient services to London Euston in under 40 minutes.

The first release of homes includes four and five-bedroom properties which are available to reserve now, with two bed apartments and three-bedroom homes coming soon in 2023. Prices start at £535,000 for a four-bedroom double-front detached home with a single garage and driveway parking.
