Housebuilder launches first show homes at new Paddock View development

Local housebuilder Dandara will be launching two brand new show homes at its Paddock View development in Yapton, West Sussex, on Saturday 4th September. The two and three-bedroom show homes offer homebuyers access to coastal living, as well as easy commuter links to the city. The show homes will be available to view in person by appointment only.

Designed by Abode, the homes have been inspired by the 1920’s Art Deco movement - noted for its modernism and stylisation. Visitors to the development will now be able to view first-hand the two-bedroom Vyne and three-bedroom The Upnor Plus, both of which are available to buy at the development. The homes at Paddock View are designed to adapt to a variety of buyers, including first time buyers as well as families and downsizers alike.

Harriet O’Brien, Designer at Abode, commented on the design process: “The Vyne was designed for first time buyers predominantly, but also with growing families in mind. This two-bedroom house type we felt was perfect for this demographic, with plenty of space for a dining table to accommodate four people, a lovely open living dining area and two spacious bedrooms.

“The colour scheme in The Vyne is largely monochrome as a true nod to Art Deco, but incorporates injections of rust to create drama and bring a modern feel to the scheme. My favourite room has to be the living room, it embodies modern art deco with its marble dining table and brass accents throughout; we also used a horizontal geometric pattern on the dining area wall to make the space feel more inviting.”

Harriet continued: “The Upnor Plus was designed with growing families in mind, there’s a softness to the colour scheme which we felt was important in order to create a relaxed environment for the family.

“The natural materials used within the Art Deco movement became the inspiration behind the scheme in this show home and in doing so became the colour palette. We decided to run with a beautiful sage green tone throughout the house, sitting in an otherwise neutral, natural base with accents of marble and chrome finishes.”

Nicki Dennis, Head of Sales and Marketing at Dandara Southern, commented: “We are excited to launch the Vyne and The Upnor Plus show homes at Paddock View this week, particularly given the high volume of interest we have received at the development. The homes are adaptable to suit the buyers’ needs which is exemplified in our new show homes, so we want to encourage anyone interested to come down and see what the development has to offer.”

Once complete, Paddock View will deliver 108 homes in total including 32 affordable properties. The development will also incorporate open space provision consisting of parks, cycle and footpaths providing links to wider surrounds.

Barnham railway station is located less than two miles away from the development, offering services to Portsmouth in 30 minutes and London Victoria within an hour and a half.
