Industry Accolade for Dandara Site Manager

A local site manager for Dandara has been recognised for his contribution and dedication to excellence in delivering high-quality homes.

The National House Building Council (NHBC) has named Michael Walmsley as a winner of the Pride in the Job 2019 Quality Awards for the Northern Ireland and Isle of Man region, following his work on the Auldyn Meadow development in Ramsey. This is Michael’s second Pride in the Job Award, having also been a winner in 2017 for his work on the Slieau Whallian View development in Peel.

Pride in the Job is the most highly regarded competition in the house-building industry; celebrating site managers who demonstrate excellence and commitment to producing homes of outstanding quality. With around 16,000 professionals competing for the accolade, Michael is one of 450 Quality Award winners and one of 25 in his region.

Michael’s success will be celebrated later this year at the official ceremony held at The Culloden Hotel in Belfast on Friday 1st November, where winners and their guests will come together to recognise their exceptional achievements and also find out who will be taking home the Regional Winners and Seal of Excellence Award titles.

Dandara Managing Director Seamus Nugent said:

A Pride in the Job award is the highest industry accolade a site manager can receive, making this win an amazing achievement and something Michael should be extremely proud of. His contribution to the Auldyn Meadows development in Ramsey was key so it’s fantastic he has been recognised for this.

Michael is a key member of our construction team and a true professional who values quality, attention-to-detail and commitment to excellence – principals that underpin everything we do at Dandara. This is a well-deserved accolade and we look forward to seeing how Michael gets on in the Regional and Seal of Excellence Awards in Autumn.
