Local pupils celebrate stars in their lives with local housebuilder

Local housebuilder Dandara recently teamed up with Haddenham St Mary’s School, located nearby it’s development The Grove on Stanbridge Road, to celebrate its five star accreditation from the House Builders Federation (HBF).

Year 2 pupils of Haddenham St Mary’s School were tasked with drawing someone who is a ‘star’ to them in their life. The five winning entries were chosen by Dandara and have been displayed in The Grove Sales and Marketing Suite, representing five star people in the pupils lives coinciding with the housebuilders five star status.

The ‘stars’ chosen by the winning pupils include parents, pets, best friends, siblings as well as scientists to honour those who are making the vaccine.

Alice Gilbert Scott, Year 2 Teacher, commented: “The children have really enjoyed thinking about who is a star in their life and we have found it interesting to see who and how the children’s ‘star’ supports each child – alongside some really gorgeous pictures!”

Dandara recently achieved five-star status in the latest Home Builders Federation (HBF) annual New Homes Survey, in its first year of participating, as the company seeks to expand its housebuilding arm of the business. The survey is one of the largest of its type in the country with nearly 50,000 people who have recently bought a new build home completing it. It awards housebuilders with a ‘Star Rating’ based on responses to the question ‘would you recommend your builder to a friend?’. For Dandara to have been awarded the maximum 5 stars means that over 90% of its customers would recommend their homes to a friend (in the period from April 2020 – March 2021).

The Grove development in Haddenham is located less than a mile from Haddenham St Mary’s school where a collection of two bedroom bungalows and two, three and four bedroom homes are available. Prices start from £345,000 for a two bedroom home.
