North Mundham’s School Choir Attend Young Voices Concert At London’s O2 With Support From Dandara

North Mundham School choir recently attended London’s O2 Arena as part of the Young Voices annual event, the world’s largest children’s choir concert that brings together thousands of children from across the UK. The trip, sponsored by local housebuilder Dandara, saw the children enjoy performances from professional artists and dancers from the industry.

Celebrating its 89th show at the O2 since 2007, and the 30th anniversary of Young Voices UK, the concert welcomes over 60,000 children every year to find their love of music. The milestone highlights the lasting impact the organisation has made to inspire, unite, and uplift the younger generation through music.

Dandara’s donation comes from an ongoing partnership with the North Mundham School as they previously welcomed the choir to perform and switch on festive lights at its Hawthorn Grove development in North Mundham, located a short distance away from the school.

Zoey Rampton, Head of Sales at Dandara Southern, said: “Supporting the choir by funding the trip to the O2 is more than just a donation, it’s about giving young people the opportunity to build confidence and make memories that stay with them for life. The performance at Hawthorn Grove was a just taster of the talent our local community has and it was a privilege to help them show thousands more people how good they are!”

Zoe Gordon, Headteacher at North Mundham Primary School, said: “It was so rewarding to see the excitement and pride the children had performing as part of the Young Voices concert. The support from Dandara enabled the pupils to gain a life-changing opportunity beyond the classroom and we are extremely grateful for their generosity.”

Hawthorn Grove, located in the heart of North Mundham, offers a collection of high-quality two-, three- and four-bedroom homes designed for modern living, with easy access to Chichester, the coast and local amenities. The development has attracted a mix of first-time buyers, families and downsizers, creating a growing community that continues to take shape.
