Potton United youth football club sponsorship with local housebuilder

Potton United Youth Football Club has scored a £500 sponsorship from local housebuilder Dandara, who is building its Copsewood development nearby the football club on Mill Lane, Potton. The sponsorship went towards providing a new kit for the under 13’s team.

Established in 1980, Potton United Youth F.C provides football for boys and girls aged 4 to 17 years old based in the local area. Potton United Youth is a thriving organisation, having won the Best Chartered Standard Club Award three times for Bedfordshire and twice for East Anglia.

Steve Judd, Chairman at Potton United Youth F.C, commented: “Our under 13’s team are proud to be wearing their new kit for their upcoming matches this season. Our club relies on donations and volunteers so the sponsorship from Dandara is a very welcome contribution to support our organisation which is working hard to engage with the local youth in Potton. We thank Dandara for their support and look forward to seeing the kit being put to good use by the team!”

Simon Pendlebury, Sales and Marketing Director at Dandara Northern Home Counties, adds: “Potton United Youth Football Club is central to the local community and provides an important opportunity for local children to not only play football, but learn leadership, teamwork and make friends. We are proud to be a part of its season this year thanks to our family friendly Copsewood development. We hope our contribution towards the team will help their successes and we look forward to supporting them at their forthcoming matches!”

There is now one final home remaining at Dandara’s Copsewood development for £570,000.
