Not only will your new home be ready for you, it’ll be a blank canvas for your own personal style. You could spend those savings on upcycling and supporting your local community, rather than wrestling with a fixer upper. Would you spend that money on décor, a holiday, or just keep it for your savings? You can explore our developments here.
Energy Saving Tips – Every Little Helps:
Basic is not enough for us. Let’s take it a step further by exploring what you can do to personally save that extra bit of money and reduce your carbon footprint…
- You can switch to L.E.Ds or energy saving bulbs. Our homes use both as a baseline, but did you know that with energy saving lights you can save up to an extra £40 a year?
- Use simple kitchen tweaks such as using a bowl to wash up rather than a running tap, only filling a kettle with the amount of water you need, and other energy and water-saving tricks. Just a few small considerations could save you up to £39 a year.
- Turning down your thermostat by just one degree. Amazingly, such a small change could save you £60 a year. Every little helps!
While we know these savings might not seem like much on their own, they all add up. Taking these three steps could reduce your energy costs and save you up to £140 a year… and that’s not even all of them!

Your Home, Our Commitment
We’re dedicated to ensuring that when we build communities, we do it in an ethical manner that respects the environment around us. Our homes have been expertly designed to maximise natural heat and sunlight, helping you to reduce your heating and electricity bills.
Within our new build homes themselves, we use energy-efficient boilers that use 15% less gas than the standard, and you have the choice of a Solar Thermal Heating System if preferred. Our windows are double-glazed to keep in heat, letting you turn down your thermostat while staying comfortable, and all of our taps and toilets are designed to reduce water consumption.
Sustainability is also key for us, from the design to the construction phase. We recycle where possible in our construction, even reusing land, and we do our best to keep unnecessary waste to a minimum. Did you know that we plant over 30,000 new trees near our developments every year? This creates a natural environment for you to enjoy, but it also provides habitats for all the natural wildlife our beautiful country has to offer.
In line with the government guidance, the UK housing industry is still active, so we’re still here for you. If you are interested in finding out more about our new homes across the UK, you can contact one of our developments directly to arrange a safe 1-2-1 appointment where our friendly sales advisors can assist you from the comfort of your own home.
