Tunbridge Wells housebuilder donates to hospital
Local property developer Dandara has made several donations of healthy energy drinks, snack bars and hand creams to staff working at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust’s Tunbridge Wells Hospital during the pandemic.
Tunbridge Wells Hospital, which is in close proximity to a number of the company’s developments, including The Pantiles and Knights Wood, was one of seven hospitals across the country to receive care packages from Dandara as a way of thanking key workers for their continuous and tireless work during these challenging times.
Jo Garrity, MTW’s Head of Staff Engagement and Equality, said: “Our staff have been working tremendously hard during the coronavirus pandemic to ensure our patients continue to receive outstanding care. Given the nature of the work the hand cream as well as the energy drinks and snack bars have been very much appreciated by our staff.”
Louise Norman, Sales and Marketing Director for Dandara South East, commented: “NHS staff all over the country have been making sacrifices every day and working extraordinarily hard to look after COVID-19 patients. We hope these care packages will provide practical help as well as boost morale in these exhausting times.”
Dandara has an established presence in Kent with its regional office located in Tunbridge Wells, as well as its developments The Pantiles and Knights Wood.
