Dandara adds sparkle to Christmas with donation of Santa Stop Here signs

Santa Claus will have no problem finding the homes of local children in Kidwelly in Wales this Christmas thanks to Dandara, who are building homes nearby at its Golwg Gwendraeth development in Kidwelly.

The independent housebuilder donated 130 Santa Stop Here signs to local school Ysgol Gymraeg Gwenllian to help Father Christmas and his reindeers navigate the journey from North Pole to their homes.

Each pupil was invited to add sparkle and colour to the wooden signs which can be hung on front doors on Christmas Eve to make it easier for Rudolph to locate each home.

Martin Smith, Managing Director for Dandara Wales & West, said: “We are pleased to spread some Christmas cheer with Ysgol Grmraeg Gwenllian and we hope the children had a lot of fun making their signs which I am sure will guarantee them a place on the ‘nice’ list this Christmas. It’s great to see so many imaginative designs and the children put a lot of effort into their work so there are some fantastic results.”

Adam Barnett, Headteacher at Ysgol Gymraeg Gwenllian, commented: “The children had an absolute ball decorating the signs and we are so grateful to Dandara for the donation, which formed part of the activities on our annual Christmas Jumper Day. It never ceases to amaze me how clever and creative the children are, no two finished signs were the same.”

Only a nine minute drive away from Ysgol Gymraeg Gwenllian school, Golwg Gwendraeth offers a scenic lifestyle with excellent transport links including Kidwelly train station approximately a 10-minute drive away.
