Independent housebuilder Dandara has promoted Chris Harris to the role of Chief Operating Officer for its Housebuilding Division, as the company aims to drive forward its growth strategy.
Chris takes on the role having previously been Divisional Managing Director, and is now responsible for the company’s four English regional housebuilding divisions in the Northern Home Counties, Eastern, South East and Southern areas. Reporting to Trevor Dempsey, CEO, Chris will support and work closely with the Regional Managing Directors in each territory, helping to progress and develop growth programmes.
Speaking about his new appointment, Chris said: “I’m looking forward to taking on this new strategic operational role. We have a strong presence across the South of England and Home Counties and I shall continue working with our Regional Business Units, helping them to implement our growth strategy and achieve group targets over the coming years.”
His initial priority will be to lead on the design and implementation of operational strategies and continuous improvement programmes within Dandara’s housebuilding divisions.

Chris joined Dandara in March 2019 and was promoted to Divisional Managing Director in April 2022.
