Respected independent developer Dandara has achieved five-star status in the latest Home Builders Federation (HBF) annual New Homes Survey. This marks the second consecutive year the company has achieved this, after entering for the first time last year. This news comes following huge growth over the last year, with notable developments and a proven track record in the South of England, East of England, Jersey, Scotland, Isle of Man and the housebuilder has recently expanded into Wales.
The survey is one of the largest of its type in the country with nearly 50,000 people who have recently bought a new build home completing it. It awards housebuilders with a ‘Star Rating’ based on responses to the question ‘would you recommend your builder to a friend?’. For Dandara to have been awarded the maximum 5 stars means that over 90% of its customers would recommend their homes to a friend.
Established in 1988, Dandara is an expert at creating homes, which combine design with the highest standards of quality. Its high standards are reflected in its commitment to customers and the service they receive, with its own Customer Charter ensuring its customer ethos remains a key focus for the business and its dedicated, passionate team.
Stewart Baseley, executive chairman of the Home Builders Federation said: “The survey results show that the industry is increasingly delivering very high levels of customer service. Achieving such high levels of customer satisfaction underlines the commitment of house builders to drive improvements through their businesses that deliver positive customer outcomes. With the imminent introduction of a new industry Consumer Code and a New Homes Ombudsman service, the industry is wholly focussed on making the further necessary changes to ensure it complies with the new demanding requirements. These should see further improvements in customer satisfaction levels moving forward and provide new build buyers with even more confidence in their builder and new home.
“To achieve a 5-star rating whereby over 90% of a builder’s customers would recommend them to a friend demonstrates the commitment of the company to its customers and is a significant achievement.”
After huge growth and expansion in the last year alone, Dandara’s customers, who sit at the heart of everything it does, have once again recognised the company as a quality housebuilder. To achieve a five-star rating for the second year in a row, after entering for the first time last year, is testament to the customer experience, build product and quality, which has been part of Dandara’s DNA for three decades.
The company has big plans for 2022 with many land acquisitions under its belt as it continues to build and sell five-star quality homes across the UK.
Dandara has bolstered its portfolio in the last year by creating a new Eastern region and Wales region. The regions have hit the ground running with construction due to start on respective sites in the coming months.
Dandara’s housebuilding arm of the business is currently growing throughout the UK with regional offices in East Scotland, Aberdeen, Tunbridge Wells, Milton Keynes, Braintree, Southampton and Wales, which are focused on delivering good quality family housing in desirable locations.
