Wymeswold Farmers Market and Family Fete has received a £500 donation from local housebuilder Dandara, who is currently building new homes at its nearby The Meadows development in Wymeswold, Loughborough.
Taking place on Sunday 2nd July, the farmers market on Burton Lane includes food and craft stalls, funfair rides, a miniature railway plus live music and entertainment. Dandara’s donation will help to provide a full programme of live music and entertainment for the event, which will attract more visitors and create an exciting atmosphere.
Lyndsey Keightley, one of the organisers of the Wymeswold Farmers Market and Fete, said: “The Farmers Market is a really important and impactful fundraiser for Wymeswold Preschool, where we offer childcare and preschool education for children from 2 years to school age.
“We have always wanted to have live music at the event but have never had the funds to be able to do so. The support from Dandara has been an absolute gamechanger for us. Thank you Dandara!”
Rachel Lindop, Head of Sales at Dandara Northern Home Counties, commented: “The Wymeswold Farmers Market is a brilliant event and one that we are especially proud to be part of. We are pleased to be able to help provide the entertainment and live music for the event this year – we hope everyone has an amazing time!”
Dandara is currently selling its new homes at The Meadows in Wymeswold, just a short walk from the garden walkabout, where a collection of three, four and five-bedroom homes are currently available. Prices start at £349,995 for a three bedroom semi-detached home with two parking spaces.
Buyers could also benefit from a number of incentives on offer, including savings of up to £19,000 and contributions towards Stamp Duty.
