Dandara helps make pupils' day eggs-tra special

Pupils at Kingsdown & Ringwould School in Deal had a spring in their step after a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny.

The bunny, who was invited to visit by housebuilder Dandara which is building in nearby Wingfield Place, handed out eggs to pupils who were delighted to have an early seasonal treat before breaking for the holidays.

Head Teacher Jo Hygate said: “It was lovely to see the children’s faces light up when they saw the bunny, it gave them a real boost and they were smiling for the rest of the day. The little ones in particular were amazed - it was a great way to end the term.”

Louise Norman, Sales and Marketing Director for Dandara South East, said: “Our Easter Bunny had a lot of fun meeting the children and giving out the eggs. We just wanted to say thank you to the school and local community for all their support since we have started construction work in Deal.”

Dandara has an ongoing partnership with the primary school and recently arranged for a visit from a local archaeology group, with other initiatives planned for later in the year.

It is currently building a range of two, three and four bedroom homes at its Wingfield Place development in Deal, with prices starting from £299,950.

A new show home has just been launched at the development, which is located just five minutes’ drive from Deal beach and Pier.  The showhome and sales office are open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm, call 01304 700 076 for further information.
