Dandara launches flagship development in Braintree

Independent housebuilder Dandara officially unveiled its new development on Panfield Road, the site of the former Towerlands Equestrian Centre, in Braintree last week. Towerlands Park will provide 168 new three, four and five-bedroom homes, of which 50 are affordable, for the local area.

John Stanton, Managing Director at Dandara Eastern, officially cut the ribbon to mark the launch of the region’s flagship development, Towerlands Park, on Saturday 26th November, where the two new three and four bedroom show homes are now available to view.

The energy efficient homes which achieve a B rating or above, benefit from high specification kitchens and stylish bathrooms, with either a garage or carport. The homes are currently available off-plan, with the first residents expected to move in February 2023.

Set on the rural edge of Braintree, Towerlands Park will be part of a new landscape led neighbourhood, providing high quality housing set within a green infrastructure corridor which will include the retention and enhancement of existing mature trees and hedgerow.  Provision for the new neighbourhood will include a new early year’s nursery overlooking the village green, local shops and a series of play areas, parkland, meadow and community orchard spaces linked by footway/cycleways.

Rosanne Bullen, Sales Director at Dandara Eastern, said: “We’re witnessing a surge of interest in our development from prospective homebuyers in both the local community and those further afield, who are looking for more living space, energy efficiency and strong commuter connections to the Capital. We’ve seen interest from local second steppers and families who are looking to put down roots at a community-focused development, which prioritises sustainability and green space with play areas, an on-site nursery and orchards to come.”

“Our two new show homes offers a taste of the modern living available at Towerlands Park, where residents can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding green space but still have access to the vibrant town centre nearby. It was fantastic to welcome so many customers to the development last weekend and we want to encourage anyone interested to come down and see what Towerlands Park has to offer!”

The town of Braintree offers all the advantages of country living with outstanding road and rail links to the capital. The A120 and A131 bypass the town, with the A120 connecting to the M11, and Braintree railway station is located two miles from Towerlands Park, offering access to London Liverpool Street in just over an hour.

Nearby there are a host of local amenities on Braintree’s bustling high street with a variety of cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops to choose from. Braintree Village, formerly known as Freeport, features over 90 outlets for shoppers to snap up the latest designer and high street brands, with the twice weekly street markets outside the Town Hall offering the best goods from local suppliers.

Moving away from the town centre, Braintree & Bocking Public Gardens and Great Notley Country Park and Discovery Centre offer the perfect escape into nature for families to enjoy, or take part in activities such as birdwatching, cycling, football and kite-flying.

For families at the development, there is an excellent choice of Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Good’ schools close by with five local primary schools in the area including Bocking Primary School. For older children, there’s Alec Hunter Academy and Notley High School & Sixth Form.

Prices currently start from £399,950 for a three-bedroom home. For more information about the homes for sale at Towerlands Park, please contact Dandara at www.dandara.co.uk/towerlands-park or call 01376 748 215.
