Independent housebuilder Dandara has recently unveiled its newest Show Home at its Millers View development in Elsenham, North West Essex.
Dandara has now opened the doors to its Chartwell Show Home for prospective buyers to see what life in Elsenham has to offer.
The four bedroom detached home features an open-plan kitchen-dining-family room opening out into the rear garden whilst a study and separate living room with a bay window overlook open green space and the woodland area on the development. Four spacious bedrooms upstairs are complemented by a family bathroom and ensuite for the main bedroom, with the home also benefitting from a single garage.
Kate Massey, Interior Designer at Abode, commented: “Inspired by the work of British poet and textile designer William Morris in our design of the Show Home, we chose updated William Morris wallpapers which we matched with earthy reds, browns and greens throughout.
“Utilising sustainable materials was a big focus when designing the home, so we incorporated fast growing bamboo and natural rattan in our lighting, armchairs and coffee tables. Instead of using faux, plastic plants we styled the home with dried flowers and used eym diffusers which offer 100% natural fragrance.”
“Since it is often the bustling hub of the house our favourite room to design is the family dining room. We chose to contrast the chunky textured wallpaper with a sleek sofa and wall to wall sheer curtains to make a big impact when you enter.”
Gemma Bannister, Head of Sales at Dandara Eastern, commented: “After the success of our off-plan launch towards the end of last year, we are really excited to be launching our first Show Home at Millers View. Buyers will also have the chance to view our three bedroom double fronted detached Gosford View Home this weekend.”
“Being able to walk around a home and get a sense of its size and character is a huge factor when purchasing a house, so it's important that homebuyers are given the opportunity to experience to see for themselves the homes we have on offer at Millers View.”
The idyllic and tranquil village of Elsenham provides a range of local amenities with a local Tesco Express, and the Elsenham Memorial Hall offering a range of sports clubs and arts & crafts events for everyone to enjoy.
Just five miles away from Elsenham, the historic market town of Bishop’s Stortford offers an array of high street shops, including Jackson Square Shopping Centre with a choice of restaurants.
The A120 and M11 are both within a few minutes’ drive for journeys to Braintree, Colchester, Cambridge and London. Elsenham train station is close by, reaching London Liverpool Street in just under an hour.
