Historic Berkshire village welcomes launch of new family homes
Starting this Autumn, buyers will be able to reserve the first homes at housebuilder Dandara’s Oakwood Place development in Spencers Wood, Berkshire.
Located in the rolling Berkshire countryside and situated on a 4.52 hectare site, the development will include a collection of 57 new detached and semi-detached two, three, four and five bedroom homes.
Providing much needed new homes in the area, the first properties will be ready to move into by Spring 2024, with a show home available to view at the beginning of the year. Each of the new homes will benefit from spacious open plan living areas, high-quality kitchens, modern bathrooms and rear gardens.
Zoey Rampton, Senior Sales Manager for Dandara Southern, said: “This is our first time building new homes in Berkshire, so we are excited to show off the high quality properties and specifications we offer to a new audience.
“Oakwood Place would be ideal for professionals given its close proximity to Reading and other major cities, but it would also be a brilliant place for families to settle down and enjoy all that the countryside and village has to offer.
“We are thrilled to bring new homes to this already thriving community and look forward to meeting with potential buyers and sharing our progress at the development.”
A sought-after area for families, Oakwood Place is just a short distance from a number of preschools, primary and secondary schools, as well as handy amenities such as shops, bakeries, doctors and veterinary clinics. Reading music festival, quirky independent shops, local eateries and peaceful countryside walks are all on the doorstep, meaning there’s plenty to keep buyers entertained.
Expected to attract a significant interest among potential homebuyers, Oakwood Place boasts an advantageous location for those who commute, with three railway stations within just four miles of the development – Earley, Mortimer and Reading West Station. For those who prefer to take the car, the development is just a short four mile drive from Reading town centre which provides access to the M4, giving easy access to London.
