Linden Park Cricket Club has received a £500 sponsorship from local housebuilder Dandara, who is building its 1887 The Pantiles development just down the road from the cricket grounds on The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells.
The sponsorship will go towards an advertising board to be placed on the cricket grounds, as well as support the club’s junior section, in particular the Friday coaching sessions with approximately 100 youngsters attending. The sponsorship will also contribute towards essential equipment to maintain the outfield and pitches throughout the season
Founded in 1876, Linden Park Cricket Club has a long-standing history in the community. Today it remains community focused, providing coaching and teams for all age groups from under 7’s up to seniors with over 180 members.
Louise Norman, Associate Sales and Marketing Director at Dandara South East, commented: “We are proud to support Linden Park Cricket Club given its strong roots in the local community. We hope our partnership will help support the members of the club so they can enjoy the sport and continue the success already achieved this year. We wish all the teams the best of luck with their forthcoming matches!”
