Housebuilder Dandara served Pimm’s outside its 1887 The Pantiles Sales and Marketing Office on Linden Park Road last Thursday 22nd July in aid of Hospice in the Weald. The Pimm’s was served free of charge, instead the public were encouraged to donate to the charity with over £100 raised.
Hospice in the Weald provides care to patients with terminal illness throughout West Kent and East Sussex. It provides 24/7 palliative care for patients, supporting their physical, medical and emotional needs and well as support and advice for those closest to them.
Louise Norman, Associate Sales and Marketing Director commented: “We are proud to be fundraising for The Hospice in the Weald and it was great to have so many of the local community join us, we had around 50 people show up and donate to support the charity.”
Lou Wardle, Head of Fundraising at Hospice in the Weald commented: “Fundraising is essential to the work of Hospice in the Weald and never more so than in the last year with many of our fundraising events cancelled or postponed. We are extremely grateful to Dandara for taking the time to organise this wonderful event. Money raised will help fund the continuing provision of end of life care at our Hospice in Pembury and Cottage Hospice in Five Ashes, East Sussex and we want to thank everyone for giving generously to support us!”
Those who attended also had the opportunity to view the housebuilders new Mews show home at its 1887 The Pantiles development prior to its upcoming launch.
