Tunbridge Wells housebuilder hosts Easter Egg Hunt for its residents
Tunbridge Wells-based housebuilder Dandara hosted an Easter Egg Hunt for residents at its Knights Wood development on Knights Way over the Easter weekend with over 200 people taking part.
Residents were encouraged to find easter eggs, designed by local artist Nell Price of ‘Arty Farty Retreat’ in Southborough, hidden throughout the woodland that Knights Wood has on its doorstep. The colourful eggs led to a giant golden egg at which those taking part could scan a QR code to book an appointment to collect their chocolate egg prize, provided by small family-owned chocolate shop ‘Temper Temper’, in a Covid-safe manner.
Louise Norman, Associate Sales and Marketing Director at Dandara South East, commented: “We have really enjoyed organising this Easter Egg Hunt for residents at our Knights Wood development and we would like to thank Nell at ‘Arty Farty Retreat’ and the team at ‘Temper Temper’ for helping us put this together. There are a lot of families at the development as well as a primary school on site, so we really wanted to organise something fun for them over the Easter holiday. It is has also given us the opportunity to support local businesses which made it all the more rewarding. After such a challenging year it was great to put some smiles on people’s faces!”

The Knights Wood woodland, where the Easter Egg Hunt took place, stretches over 150 acres and is perfect for walks and bike riding. Many of the family homes available at Knights Wood benefit from far reaching views through the woodlands towards Tunbridge Wells and beyond. The woodlands provide a scenic place for residents to go on long walks and keep fit, which has been particularly important during lockdown.
