Blank canvas to put all your ideas and plans into, get to choose fixtures and fittings. They look beautiful and modern externally. Solar panels and better insulation than older houses and more energy-efficient.

We chose a new build because it was our first house, and everything came with a warranty which meant we didn’t have to worry about maintenance! It was also a great experience moving into a fresh home where everything has been super new, also meant we can pick from the start about the colour of our floor or kitchen cabinets.

A few reasons why we ended up choosing a new build was everything was done ready to move in, clean and fresh house so we could put our own mark on it, no chain once we sold our house and then if there was anything wrong with the house, we knew they would get it sorted and not be left down to us.

We were open to looking at new builds and had originally been looking in the area of Chichester and one day I drove past the Dandara Fontwell development and was wowed, thought I would take a look. The sales team were immediately so friendly, and I was so impressed with the show homes that I arranged a visit shortly after with my husband. We loved the area and the development and here we are six months later with our lovely new home.

I walked past the sweetings as it was starting to be built and I fell in love with the location.. I wasn’t even looking to move but when I realised that it was affordable, I put my house up for sale and bought one! I love the thought that I have nothing to do once I’m in there!

The location is perfect. We’re a walkable distance from the station yet still living in a lovely countryside village. The guarantees with a new build are definitely really beneficial. We’re first-time buyers so having the team available along the way really helped. The incentives were great and loved the different options we could choose. It is nice to walk into a blank canvas and make it our own.
